Gary Hughes is a professional photographer and educator with more than 20 years in the industry and over 15 years running a high-volume, working photography studio.

He specializes in professional headshots for individuals, teams, and events, and teaches from experience, not theory. Every system in this course is actively used in his own business with real clients and real-world constraints.

Gary is a regular platform speaker at Imaging USA and WPPI, and was named Professional Photographers of America Educator of the Year in 2025. His teaching focuses on helping portrait and wedding photographers rewire their approach to headshots and build businesses that are profitable, repeatable, and sustainable.
